  1. What Forms of payment do you accept?
    Each artist accepts various forms of payment depending on their preference. Many only accept Paypal for online payments. Paypal is the quickest safest way for online shopping without disclosing any sensitive information. However, some do accept personal checks, money orders and credit cards. Read each artists page for their accepted forms of payment. You will find this info near their email address and/or in the bottom portion of their page near the Next and Previous buttons.

  2. I found the piece I want, now how do I purchase it?
    To purchase an item you need to email the artist and tell them which item you want to buy from them. The artist responds ASAP and tells you if it is still available. When multiple requests come in for an item, the artist goes by the time/date stamp of the email(s). The first one sent is the winner!!

  3. Why don't sellers offer Paypal/Buy it Now buttons like on Ebay or other sites for each item for sale?
    As each one of our items is a one of a kind handmade piece they tend to sell quickly. If we provide those buttons we could potentially sell the same item many times over as these buttons are not designed to sell an item only once. They just keep going and going and going until removed.

  4. What is the best way to pay an STJ Seller?
    Paypal is the most common accepted form of payment for online transactions. Both seller and buyer have wonderful protection and safe guards with each transaction processed through Paypal. A Paypal account is simple to set up and once filled out you never again have to provide your personal banking/sensitive information again. In other words, if you are afraid of online transactions, you will find Paypal the easiest and safest.

  5. When do I pay?
    The same day you agree to purchase the item. The artisan seller will send you an online invoice for you to pay via Paypal unless other payment arrangements are made. Be sure to finalize your transaction as soon as possible so that you do not miss the item. Often other people are waiting and hoping to buy that same item so a seller will sell to the first buyer that is ready, willing and able to complete the sale.

  6. Can I buy a few items and pay for them all at once?
    Only if the items are sold from the same seller. Each seller has their own shop/business therefor they are separate transactions.
