Message:   Over the years I've tried to allow free access and freedom of speech on this Forum. I've had a hope that the good would prevail over the bad and that the occasional outbursts fueled by an overabundance of male testosterone and ego would eventually be overlooked and finally ignored. Up to the present, this approach seems to have worked "fairly" well. Unfortunately, over the years we have lost some valued posters along the way due to name calling and other bad behavior.

To be honest, I am about at the end of my rope with the most recent rash of ill-tempered, ill-mannered, and questionable posts being left here. Grow up folks.

I have better things to occupy my time than to worry about baby-sitting the behavior of a few over-grown brats and to have to PAY for the questionable "privelege" of providing the sandbox.

I will NOT lock this place down by requiring a password for prospective posters. It's an exercise in futility and a complete waste of my time.

I will continue to allow this Forum to operate of its own accord. I'm not going to monitor it. I will not be drawn into disputes.

At some point when I allow the current subscription to expire, you'll probably start seeing lots of pop-up ads. Just use some sort of a pop-up blocker and you'll be fine.

To those of you who have valued this Forum and have provided all the wonderful input over the years. THANK YOU.
