oh boy

Didn't know this, but it was the first tune I ever played on stage on an accordion (2 weeks ago).

If I'm not mistaken, "prix" also means "prize." So, the phrase would mean, "The big one or the small one, it's all the same prize?"

Maz, because of language problems: "I don't get it"

please explain (maybe off line?)

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: 'donnez moi les "paroles"

Maz, I meant the difference between Paroles and Lyrics.

And Thanks Marc!

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: 'donnez moi les "paroles"

The lyrics on "Donnez moi les" are from an old accordion player named Angelais LeJeune.

Madame, donnez moi les
Bien la p'tite ou la grosse
La p'tite, elle est mignone
Mais la grosse est plus belle

Madame, donnez moi les
Cette- la que moi je voudrais
Bien, La p'tite ou la grosse
Madame c'est toute la meme prix

Laissez moi vous dire
Ca que m'arrive'
Pour la p'tite ou la grosse
J'ai eu ni une ni l'autre

La p'tite m'avais dit oui
Mais sa mam a pas voulu
La grosse m'a fait la blaguette
Eh la, elle laisse souffrir.

Have fun with it. Robert LeBlanc

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: 'donnez moi les "paroles"

I need to correct the last line:
La, elle me laisse souffrir

Sorry for the error, Robert LeBlanc

Thank you very much, Robert,

I like your version very much (the way it's played)
