Re: OT: Gift Ideas

John, a calendar with pictures from LA. Always nice. Try to find a 2009 one
We annually get a calender from Australia and we can always make people happy with it.

Cd's with old recordings.
CD with your own recordings.
DVD from local tourist board.

Of course there would be items you can smuggle in tax free for them like the Zoom H2. They will be happy to buy dollarcheap products that way.

If you pass through the Netherlands, let us know.

Re: OT: Gift Ideas

Try some nice Mardi Gras beads... I know I love them, and they have a unique meaning.

Re: Re: Re: OT: Gift Ideas

Oh, and you're welcome to come have dinner with us if we're here when you are, especially if you're packing some garlic pork sausage from LeJeune's Sausage on the old Crowley road in Eunice or some boudin from Eunice Poultry Shop. In fact, I think that would even earn ya a free disc. Even a bottle of "Sarah Savoy & the Francadians" hot sauce. Yessir.

Re: OT: Gift Ideas

Hey John

I live in Paris, so I can tell you that things that are cheap, light weight, and WELL APPRECIATED are seasoning mixtures (Slap Ya Mama is especially popular here) and hot sauce, "surtout" those with funny names and images. That'll work very well.

Cheers

Sarah
