small insects

i am have some very small brown insect creatures in the kitchn closet. there are many crawling on floor and wall. I have also sighted these same creatures on a cereal box. could advise be provided on how to eradicate this disturbance.

Sam,

Sounds like Stored Product Insects (also known as Pantry Pests). You can go to this site to find pictures and descriptions of the most common pests. http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/IN027

Take all food out of the pantry and treat the shelves, walls, and doors with an a pesticide labeled for this treatment (or you can click the IPCO link above to find a Professional in your area). Carefully inspect all food and dispose of any infested product.
