ants

We keep seeing ants in the kitchen and bathrooms (2 baths) they seem to like water, they are always around the sinks. sometimes I can see them trailing in a line from the wall outlet to the sink area. I have tried several different types of sprays but nothing seems to work. any ideas?

Re: ants

The ants you describe behave like Pharaoh ants. Because of the 'budding' action of the Pharoah ant colony; sprays I'm afraid will make your problem worse.
An excellent bait available for these ants is Terro sweet ant bait.

Re: Re: ants

Erin,

Ed is correct. These are most likely Pharoah ants. If so, spraying is definitely not something you want to do. Use baits to control.

If you live within our service area and would like a FREE pest inspection, call me at 813-962-3008. I would be happy to identify and give treatment recommendations.

Good Luck!

Obie
