An e-mail to a friend in France
If interested, the following is an exerpt of my e-mail to a friend in France. For you folks, it's essentially preaching to the choir. By the way, my friend in France is a pro-Confederate, having a Confederate flag sticker on the back of his Peugeot van: In reference to man-made disasters, I think we're likely to see those in the near future here. Gasoline prices continue to go up and the government seems to have lost their minds: They do nothing about illegal immigration which causes more crimes and diseases. They are apparently trying to ban Christianity over time. They are becoming more and more like a police state over time, too. America was a constitutional republic before it became a democracy. As a democracy, its days are numbered. America is killing itself and the people are to blame. We can blame most politicians in Washington, and rightly so, but the American people put them in those offices. Most American people are complacent or apathetic, and too many of them are dependent on the government. And many of them aren't even here legally! To top it off, it's very possible that America will be electing Obama, a Marxist pro-Muslim, as President! God help us! And the alternative, McCain, is simply the lesser of two evils. Anyway, this house of cards will collapse soon. I may be completely mistaken, but I think we'll see very bad times, if not this year or next year, then within five to ten years. There's a terrible storm on the horizon and America (and the world, for that matter) seems intent to drive full speed right into it. Maybe Christ will take out His church before it gets too crazy. I hope so. |
