Congratulations Tim & Sharon!
It's not every day that you have two members of a running club get married to each other, but it's happened to the SMRC! Tim Bayliss and Sharon Eads were united in matrimony on Friday evening, June 20th, at the Winfield Inn in Kyle. SMRC members in attendance were Doug Framke, Phillip Adams, Laura Mason, Randall Wood, and Linda and David Alexander. The weather and the surroundings could not have been better; and, simply put, it was probably the most touching and heartfelt wedding ceremony I have ever seen. I think we were all moist of eye as Tim & Sharon expressed their vows to each other in words that lifted our hearts with their directness and simplicity. After the ceremony we enjoyed good food and drink, followed by music and dancing. It was a fine evening! Tim & Sharon are honeymooning in Mexico this week; and once again, we want to wish them the very best and a long lifetime of happiness together. Although they are Austin residents now, we hope that they will continue to be active members of the SMRC! David |
