Special Kids Daycare

http://www.specialkidscare.org

After six years of working together as Life Skills teachers to people with developmental disabilities, their staff & families, we realized that we shared a unique vision.

With over 30 years combined experience in this field we recognize the importance of inclusion, early intervention, family support and life skills teaching.

In August 2002 we formed a non- profit organization. In April 2003, after months of planning, the Oklahoma Life Skills Association opened Special Kids, a day care facility licensed to serve twelve children between the ages of 0-12.

Some of the challenges our children face are Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Autism and severe physical issues.

Whether providing a night of relaxation through our Parent's Night Out or simply assisting family members with caregiving issues, Special Kids' sole purpose is to teach and encourage individuals and families affected by developmental and physical disabilities.
