Plympton version Rugby Songs

Thanks largely, I suspect, to Weaver and Pottsy convincing me that smashing my head into the oppositions heads was a good idea, My memory is not very impressive!Perhaps 20 years of binge drinking and continued cranial impacts hasn't helped ?

I do remember some of the rugby songs we used to sing but not all the way through and when I have bought books or searched on the webb, I have found a great deal of variation. Does anyone have 'our' versions in print?

Ringarangaroo obviously. (I always seem to remember 90% of it sitting soberly at home but on the couple of occasions I have tried to lead it after a few Guinness, I lose it)

Aladin leading into/finishing with oggy oggy.

Lobster song (YMCA had same song diff tune & Ivybridge had another version)

I don't want to go to war

The bells are ringing (me & my girl etc)always seemed to follow last one, not even sure if it is separate song!

Re: Plympton version Rugby Songs

Ah, the ringarangaro.. R **** was the Plympton player I first heard sing this popular song. On his departure I took the riens of the song so to speak. Micky is the chap for 'dont wana go to war' 'bells are ringin' etc. I dont drectly recal 'Lobster song'.
Sooty for 'Aladin'.
