Re: Picture 3

Hi Allan.

Percy says Salcome.

The pitch is bumpy and slopes in the pic.
Salcome is like a snooker table.
The background is'nt the wall with houses behind,or the other end, clubhouse and fire escape.

It dont look like Salcome?

However 2 reckon Salcome;
though me not yet sure?

Still open to debate this one...

Re: Picture 3

You see I reckon there should be the window of the clubhouse just at Johns right shoulder. And the estuary at Georges left side.

At Georges left side it looks like a roof of a building.

What about St Columba?

Re: Picture 3

Pic 4 is DHS you and others told me it was so I updated info beside it. I think it was a Lockie Cup game. But pic 3, I aint convinced its Salcome, but it could be Columba's Club House at top 'o' yonder hill.

Re: Picture 3

Mike Hewitt has the full picture (yours is cropped) and the estuary is there. He also Knows the exact date, as it is written on the picture. I think he even knows the score.Owen D remembers it like it was last week, it is the only time he has played fly half.

Deff Salcombe, I think Micky said Oct '92

Re: Picture 3

My money is Salcombe - was up there getting stuffed a few weeks back - you can see the tidal inlet behind George - the photo is prior to the net being put up to stop the balls going into neibouring proerties - you can't see the club house because the photo to near to the posts, so its not in picture
