Re: PLAYERS 100

I wish I hadn't seen this! Apart from the problems of selecting people you haven't played with or seen much of, there is comparing players from different eras. All that aside, I am confident I have a sound lineout and good scrum but the back row balance is troubling me. Can I name a side without a terrier for a 7 (Dave Espin or Gerry Knight), I have 3 ball carriers ? I suspect I should start Paul Hannigan (to graft early on) and use Daz as an impact sub. As for the back line and half backs; Sid or Mickey would drive the pack better than Neil but can you leave him out ? Elsie has to be at 10 because he could score a try from nothing but was he Plympton or Plymvic. If he qualifies should I stay with flare or ensure a good kicking game with the boot of Jason Gardener or Chris Thurkettle, at 12 ?
I'm not sure I will sleep tonight!

Re: PLAYERS 100

Allan Wright, you poor deranged old fool.
None of; Nige Tully, Lee Ainsley, Gareth Espin, Ben Towle or Martin Holgate, played for Plympton. They are all Plympton Victoria. Did you compile this after your evening visit to the £2.99 cooking sherry :) ??

Weaver; If you want to include PlymVic players, it will get more confusing but I can prob help with the list. It will at least triple your original though
