That's Past President's Prologue from Steve Smith!!

First a great THANKS to Timmy for the Website and to everyone involved in the organisation of a really great day!!!!!!

I'm sorry I could not stay the course and had to leave before even starting any upside down drinking - I'm sure that I missed a fantastic night. Genuine reasons which can be explained over a pint.

It was great to see so many faces old and new, and the support for the event is a tribute to a great club, whilst the old stories and memories had me in stitches (and awe!!) at what we all used to do!

Thanks also to PlymVic for playing the game in the spirit they did and for hosting the day - although I would just like to point out that in my day it was great for a prop to get a hat-trick in a season let alone an afternoon, I hope the beer flowed at his expense!!!

Finally I have had reports of a celebratory dinner perhaps being arranged. One of the Newton and Noss oldies has requested it be a Gentleman's evening in the hope that he can see Samantha with her whip again (I suspect she now uses it on her zimmer - but perhaps she has a daughter!)No doubt we could use the contacts list to inform everyone if a Dinner (Formal or otherwise) gets to the planning stage.

Once again, Thanks from Me and Allan Baldwin,Paul Southcombe,Nick Lethbridgeand Tony Tubb.
