Heading for Carnival 2006
We are going for the Carnival 2006. My buddies & I are all young masculine msucle guys from LA. We workout 5x wk & great body & looks. Where do the young muscle guys hang out there like clubs & bars? We are staying at Mar Ipanema. Is this a good hotel? We are so EXCITED to be there.

Head to Ipanema beach, you can't go wrong; have lunch at the New Natural restaurant (as a suggestion)and have drink at Bofetada bar after the beach - that's the circuit!
For later in the evening, there's a few other bars; clubs, there's something every night; and a major party nearly every night during Carnival.

I live in the next building beside this hotel. It´s a very good hotel, 2 blocks from the beach.

I strongly suggest you to stay at MAR IPANEMA, very strategical place, you have the beach next door exactly in the gay area, and at the same street called Farme Amoedo, you have the great bar BOFETADA, great to go after a beach day!;)
