Personal guides in Rio?
I'm visiting Rio for a week in December. I was there once before andhad a nice time, but not speaking more than a few polite words for Portugese, I felt a bit lost as to really getting to know the scene/city. Do you have a source/suggestion as to how I might hire a local Gay guide who would show me around the city, help me find the best clubs/parties/saunas, meet a few locals, etc. I am an experienced traveler and don't need my hand held 24/7, but I think it might be worth some extra $ to have someone available at least part of my stay. Any suggestions/links/prices/proper etiquite, etc. would be welcome and apprecaited.
Obrigado

Re: Personal guides in Rio?
We can safely recommend Rafa. He’s been a tour guide for about 3 years now. I very reliable guy and he knows all about Rio. He often writes for the VT Forum and you can read more about him at http://members.virtualtourist.com/m/97fc0/16f3ed/ .
