Parties during Carnival
hi, we wanted to find out if it's possible to get a list of the parties and maybe buy tickets on line , we have been to Rio before and we wanted to get VIP tickets if possible, it's 6 of us,we're staying at the Ipanema Plaza, it looks nice in the pictures ,anybody 's been there before? thanks for any info

The best you can do is check this site regularly for party updates – there isn’t a list as such. As for getting the tickets online, sorry, but there’s nothing available, and most of the clubs will only accept cash.
Some local travel agents claim to be able to get VIP tickets but just what they mean by VIP, we don’t know.
And lastly, you can’t go wrong with the Ipanema Plaza – it’s not a gay hotel but due to its location ( across from Ipanema beach) loads of guys stay there.
