Hi could you tell me the best way to travel from manchesterto get to chester zoo, i do not drive and would really appreciate if you know what buses etc i could get there from the train station regards rhonda

Hi there is travel information on the Chester Zoo website http://www.chesterzoo.org/visitorinfo.asp Please note the bus services 4/8/x8 no longer run There are 2 ways to get to Chester Zoo from Chester Station : 1) Taxi There is a black cab taxi rank outside the station. It is 2 miles and costs about 5 pounds. 2) Bus From Chester Main Line Station: Take taxi (app. 2 miles), or bus to Town Hall bus exchange or walk down Brook Street to the City Centre (10 mins). I was wondering if someone could tell me how much of Chester is open over the Easter weekend, particularly Easter Sunday? IE shops, restaurants, the Cathedral. Any info would be greatly appreciated. |

most shops normally open on on bank holidays. chester market might be closed. |
