bedding
For the bedding in the actual guinea pig houses do you use a different bedding to what is on the cage floor. what would you suggest for burrowing. and what bedding is the best |

Hey, Guineas like all kinds of bedding, but for nesting areas I use plain ol pillow batting- you know, what you stuff pillows with? They love it. They also drag it all over the cage, lol, so you have to replace it when you change you litter becuase they get it dirty. My cage is Three stories, we homemade it and they LOVE all the room. We have found however they dont just poop in the bottom floor where all the litter is, they do it all over the pen, wherever they are, including in the nesting area (igloo).
