'How do I love you' Helen
I look often at this site and fondly recall so many special friends both with us now and sadly those who have left us. I love reading all your funny comments and the great pictures you contribute to this wonderful site via Margie and Jeri. I don't write because at 63 (odd 63 once again) I really haven't been moved to do so. I guess I was waiting for 'a moment' to inspire me. It's happened! OK, here goes, Helen; I didn't know you in high school, my loss. I found you by happenstance, not my thing as I don't believe in it; I am a sycronisty kinda girl. who knows why:) You are our Angel, our friend and we are so blessed to have you in our lives. Your unending commitment to your community, Phil and David are edifying. You show us the way to be all we can and......to quote Elizabeth Barrett Browning, "if God should choose I shall but love you better after death". If you knew her in high school and lost contact, do yourself a huge favor and reach out to her, you will NOT, I say NOT be sorry. She will touch you. If you didn't know her at Wilson, you Will ask yourself, how could I have missed her. Here's to you H, forever friend and sister in heart, I am blessed and humbled to have to have you in my life. Always, love, Q |
