Here's the official press release !!!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Christmas returning
to Edaville USA™
with new operator

There will be a Christmas at Edaville USA™ this year. A new operator has taken over management of the family fun park in Carver, Mass., and will offer a series of activities and events this fall, including the National Cranberry Festival™ and Holiday Festival of Lights™.
Railway Entertainment Inc. has leased the land and equipment at Edaville USA™ and is planning to open to the public in September. The new operator will continue to run the park as a family attraction and provide rides on a narrow-gauge train on 5 1/2 miles of track through the 1,300-acre cranberry plantation on which it is situated.
“It will remain the good old Edaville everyone remembers,” said Rob Julian, who is a principal of Railway Entertainment Inc, along with Brenda Johnson. “We’ll make improvements to add to the enjoyment of our visitors but the basic experience will remain the same. We are looking forward to an exciting fall and another great holiday season.”
A schedule of events will be announced soon. The new operator of Edaville USA™ expects to be open on weekends during the fall and daily for the Holiday Festival of Lights™, which will run from mid-November through early January.
In addition to the narrow-gauge train ride, Edaville USA™ offers a variety of amusements for kids of all ages, including an antique carousel, Ferris wheel, paddleboats, kids rides, Cranberry World Museum and other fun activities. The National Cranberry Festival™ offers close-up views of the colorful cranberry harvest while the Holiday Festival of Lights™ features millions of lights at New England’s largest outdoor holiday display.
Edaville USA™ is located on Route 58, less than 4 miles from I-495, in Carver, Mass. For more information, call 508-866-8190 or toll-free 877-EDAVILLE, or visit the website at www.edaville.com.

Re: Here's the official press release !!!

Edaville lives! Congratulations to Brenda and Rob. Best wishes!

Re: Re: Here's the official press release !!!

There couldn't be a better management/operator like Brenda Johnson and Rob Jullian. The two make Edaville what it is and I hope everything works out for the both of them. Last year when they bumped Brenda down a position for this "NEW" management team, I wasn't happy. No one and I MEAN NO ONE can run the park better than Brenda. I am so HAPPY to see the two open up Edaville! GOOD LUCK TO THE BOTH OF YOU!!

Now we just have to get more people to go to Edaville and get advertising back out there that EDAVILLE WILL LIVE AND RUN AGAIN!

Re: Re: Re: Here's the official press release !!!

I agree whole heartly with the last two comments about Brenda and Rob in the drivers seat to run Edaville, They both were great in the past, and I wish you both good luck.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Here's the official press release !!!

I was horrified to read that Edaville was in trouble. Gratified that it WILL open again. It's a shame that we won't be able to enjoy it this summer. It would be a travesty to loose our railroad heritage. I'd like to know if there is anything my meager existance can help with!

Re: Here's the official press release !!!

The best thing to do is to visit often. If a "meager existence" precludes that, then spread the word that Edaville will be open.
That doesn't cost a penny.
