On Friday, August 25, 2006 at the "Rally Obedience Trial", held in conjunction with the 2006 "Cherokee Rose Summer Cluster Shows" in Atlanta, GA, "PETE" added his very first Obedience Title at nearly eight years of age! His owner/trainer/handler, Ann Terry,
of Chattanooga, TN guided "PETE" to his Rally Novice (RN) Degree with an average score of 96 in a total of three Rally-O Trials! Congratulations to "PETE" and Ann! Besides, who was it that said "Old Dogs Can't Learn New Tricks"? Obviously, they hadn't met "Halloweeen Pete"! "Pete" was born on October 31, 1998, at The Gin-Tai Tibetan Spaniels in Jackson County, Alabama, near Stevenson. His dam, Ch Bet'R Bobby Sox at Gin-Tai,ROM, is still ruling the roost at nearly fourteen years "young", and his sire, Ch Bet'R Spotlight for Gin-Tai, is still proudly reigning at nearly twelve years old. His litter sisters, Ch Gin-Tai's Blaque Bhu-Ti and Ch Gin-Tai's Prissy Missy, are setting a standard of growing older with grace and class! "Beauty" and "Prissy", both dams of AKC champions, are hardly slowing down at all!
They are teaching youngsters, Ch Gin-Tai's The First Edition, "Eddie", and Ch Gin-Tai's Zesty Starla, "Starla", what to do!

CORRECTION: Although "Prissy" has produced a champion son, Ch Gin-Tai's The First Edition, "EDDIE", she has not completed her AKC championship title! In spite of the fact that "PRISSY" doesn't enjoy the Conformation Show Ring, herself, she has finished almost half-a-championship, anyhow! I decided to let her retire from showing, after her last show at Clarksville, TN in the spring of 2006. She did win one point that weekend, however! She hates Thunderstorms, and as usual, she was frightened when she had to show once more in a blowing rainstorm, so we decided that would be her last show, as that rainy, stormy, weather has followed her show career! Too bad about that, as she is certainly a "show-quality" Tibetan Spaniel!
