Re: Edaville mentioned on TV!

Yes, The Family Guy, has New England Connections.

I believe it is the writer or creator who is originally from around here.

This person probably like all the 40-50-60-70-80-90- and 100 year olds went to Edaville when they were kids or at a young age.

But thanks to Brenda, Robbie, and John for Keeping Edaville alive and kicking. Although it has changed with the times, in order to appease the younger crowd, texting, cell phoning, and internet all at the same time.

The Precious Name and Mr Atwood's dream of having a narrow gauge train run around his cranberry plantation ARE STILL ALIVE.

Each Christmas, The Children's Eyes light up when then see all the displays. The Parents. Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents' hearts light up also because of the Joy and Spirit of the Season of all the lights. The gorgious displays in the Museum, and of course the train ride.

This kind of feeling cannot be expressed via cell phoning, texting, or internet.

It is AMAZING that this show is a Nationally televised show.

The Family Guy will probably go on for years, as it has such a huge following - Just like the simpsons who are now in their 20 + Seasons. Isn't it funny the kids never grew up after 20 years.
