Hi all, after years of wanting to own a 2CV, I finally found myself in the position to be able to do so. Today I bought my first 2CV.

Its a 1987 E plate. On the face of it I think I've got a bargain. The bodywork is good, and underneath looks rust and leak free. The problem being that the previous owner was elderly and it hasn't been on the road since 2007 and the previous owner has lost the keys. I rang up my local Citroen dealer after handing over the money to order the new keys and to my surprise they informed me that they no longer make the keys.
I have all the paperwork for the car and the Key numbers. My question is whether anybody in the know could get the key made for me please? At the moment the car is still parked in the previous owners garage and I'm under pressure to remove it. I also feel a little bit uneasy paying the money and not being able to take the car.
