Re: Jam anyone?

Isn't it the jam where people show up with banjos and spoons?

Re: Jam anyone?

Not at my jam. I make the policy I make the decisions on who gets to play or not. It is not an open jam. The jam you are talking about is organized by a couple of Johnny come lately type-and they make the claim they are knee deep in the culture and music, One of the original members is a fine young man and a very talented musician. They have a Wednesday night jam with every instrument imaginable. One guy even plays on a real rub board, with out the soap. No one does a jam the way I do it. But to really understand appreciate what we do you just have to come see for your self. Perhaps that's why we were on LPB, and Fox 8 News New Orleans and so many other places.

Re: Jam anyone?

Just as another side note. The oldest woman in the world died today. She was an Italian woman born in 1899. Do yall realize that she was born at the same time Amedee Ardoin was born? I think that made her 118 years old. WOW!
Oh, hey Jerry.
