Any upright piano players here? O.T.

I bought a 1905 Starr upright piano for 75 bucks last week. The tuner took one look and said it was a quality piano needing about a grand to make it right... :- 0 The case is super clean and it has been well kept, but a thousand bucks is a lot of $$$.

He felt bad for me, so he is giving me a 1900 Vose&Son upright that someone left at his shop eight years ago. The cabinet isn't as clean but it is still nice and sounds wonderful.

I don't even want to think about getting the upright collecting bug, but the good ones are really something! Soooooo... are there any piano players here, especially those who love old uprights?
