I'll happily drink your beer and talk, but I wouldn't put any more stock in my opinions than Mr. Lomax. But you do need to come back to L'anse Grise, and bring your fiddle and Ms. Buffy.
Yes. I feel Alan's film to be one of the most historically inaccurate of the lot. He makes huge leaps of faith on Cajun connections. The worst has to be the 'hip et taiau' origins. Blah!
But, hey it's better than nothing. Best use of this film seems to be the music, stories, and several shots of the greats tearing it up. just MHO.
