Re: lyrics to Reve de Soulard

What does the term "Bambocher" mean?

Thanks

Re: lyrics to Reve de Soulard

Bamboche = drinking spree
Bambocheur = dissipater, , carouser, woman chaser, big drinker, drunkard
Bambocher = to squander, to dissipate, to carouse

Re: lyrics to Blues du Soulard

Hi there, here are the lyrics I use for the Blues du Soulard (Dunken's Blues). If you want my lyrics, just email me and I can email you my word document with about 50 tunes.
Cheers.

Blues du Soulard

Quand les blues me prend, moi j'suis gone
Moi j'suis parti m' saouler
Quand j'me saoule, bébé, quand j'suis gone de la maison
Pour joindre ma chère catin

D’abord j'arrive à la maison, ma 'tite femme après m'q'reller
Moi j'y'ai d'mandé pourquoi tu m'q'relles.

A m'a réponds, mon nèg’, c'est pour ça moi j'te q'relles
Parce que j’te vois tout l'temps parti.
