Excalibur accordions - any good?

I'm toying with the idea of a CBA accordion, now that I'm trying to play some Chenier songs. I see Excalibur has a 5 row, 3 treble voice box. I know they are a less expensive brand, but, just wondering if I'll be "not paying for what I'm not getting", or, worse "paying for what I'm not getting".

Anyone know?

Re: Excalibur accordions - any good?

However, I'm reading nothing but horror stories about this guy's business practices (Jim Laabs, who apparently owns Excalibur accordions).

Re: Excalibur accordions - any good?

I wouldn't buy anything from a seller with as many complaints as Laabs Music.
Even if one out of 10 were true, that's a LOT of complaints...

Re: Excalibur accordions - any good?

Only one in ten complaints about me are true. I know, because I'm the one complaining.
