I started the Cajun Accordion Discussion Page -- the grandfather of this -- on bravenet in the mid-90s when I was living in Kichijoji Tokyo because I so wanted to meet others who were playing Cajun music and it was pretty lonely in Japan. Next time you have a big bowl of ramen, think of me... :- )

Mmm... Ramen.. That brings back memories. I was stationed in Misawa (up north) 1981-84. Good times for sure.

The ramen (and noodles of all kinds here)are splendid of course, especially down in Kyushu which is considered the true home of ramen, but in reality the Japanese consider ramen to be Chinese food!
