Re: Roseland Waltz- Willis Prudhomme

That's pretty much the same as the Lafayette Waltz.

Re: Roseland Waltz- Willis Prudhomme

Yeah..sorta like Lafayette I guess..but Roseland sounds really smooth and silky to me in comparison. I'd sure like to hear the whole piece played. I have a picture in my mind of people cruisin' round the dance floor to this piece.
Does anyone have the lyrics? Does anyone have a full version by Willis or whoever else?

Re: Roseland Waltz- Willis Prudhomme

J’ai parti (z)à Grand Lake Charles,
J’ai parti (z)à Grand Lake Charles,
Juste pour voir mA chère catin,
Et son nom c’est Roseland.

J’ai parti (z)à Grand Lake Charles,
J’ai parti (z)à Grand Lake Charles,
Juste pour voir mon chère catin,
Et pour faire changer son nom.

Repeat verse 1

Marc.
