Song of the Month

The "song of the month" seems to have languished. I for one really looked forward to that challenge each month and greatly enjoyed watching the contributions of others.

If folks are amenable, I'll take the torch on this one and so it will go from "Jamey Halls Song of the Month" to "John in Oregons Song of the Month".

My personal thoughts are that the song of the month should typically be standards of the jam sessions with only occasional forays into the more interesting (read hard) songs.

Those who know all this stuff... well you know it. Those of us trying to learn... we're hoping you who do it well will show us who don't. At least that's my thoughts.

I can be reached at jalexander(at)preachain(dot)com if anyone would like to privately discuss.

Good??? I hope so.
