What do you think of the Morelli 3-row ADG?

Braves, I'm picking your collective brains again. I'm still searching for a deal for a triple row... Locally, I found a Morelli 3-row in ADG for approx $300 including case and straps, almost brand new.
Haven't seen it yet. There was a similar one on Ebay recently (see link).
Do you have any opinion on this box?
I understand the key of ADG is more common for Newfoundland & Quebec... How does it work Zydeco & Blues?
Thanks for your input.

Use whatever key you want.

I don't know anything about Morelli accordions, so I can't help you there.

As to key choice however, if it works for you, then it works. If you like ADG, and it fits your vocal range (if vocals are involved) then go for it! ADG is relatively rare in zydeco, but so what. There is no rule that says it is wrong or bad to play an ADG box.

Re: Use whatever key you want.

... I second David's motion. Key is chosen on your vocal range or the instruments or keys your fellow musicians play in.. You may have a favorite but it is really all relative..

Re: What do you think of the Morelli 3-row ADG?

I checked out Morelli some time ago.

It's just another name stamped on the same cheap, junky accordions coming out of China.

Please don't be fooled by words and phrases like "Italian style" or "Italian design".

If it says Sofia Maria or Morelli or whatever, you will quickly discover that you get when you pay for!

my 2 cents,
(But you knew that already! :)

Question for DP Mandell

DP, you said you checked out the Morelli, was it the 3-row or the Cajun style? I know the Cajun style is not great (similar to Ariette).
I wonder if the 3-row would be in the same league?

Re: Question for DP Mandell

triple row.
Yes, cheapo.

Many names on the same box.
(Who knows, maybe from Prison labor camps in China like the Chinese bicycles)

There seem to be two basic cheapo models out of China from what I have seen. And the name could be anything.

If it's too good a deal to be true, it probably is no deal at all.

I agree with Larry.
junk,
