Another place that you can find Cajun music on the internet is at live365.com (I hope that is the correct address - if not,you can search for it easily).
Several months ago, the Washington post had an article about this internet site. I immediately went to the site and (as is not unusual) started searching for a whole bunch of things and almost forgot what I went there for in the first place - to find Cajun music. Basically, anybody can create their own "radio station" with their favorite playlists. Anyone can then listen to it. As I remember, I found at least two Cajun programs, but I'm sure there were many more. At that time, I remember that Mick Abed had a program and another was by Dwayne Coots. Depending on the arrangement with live365, there could be a limited selection of songs that plays over and over or you could have your own radio show and play whatever you want to play. The selection was so large and so interesting that I only scratched the surface of what is available.
On one of my detours from looking for Cajun music, I found this one program of Old-Time fiddle music that I liked so much that I could have selected the tunes myself - I felt that I had found a friend!
