Re: More clips of "Aly Bain meets the Cajuns" on Youtube!
The programme was made by Pelicula Films, a company based in Glasgow. They made a series of films in the US with Ali Bain called Down Home which included filming with Bill Monroe, Mike Seeger, Quebecois musicians and the Cape Breton fiddlers to name but a few. These were the best traditional music programmes ever made, with complete performances of tunes shown.
I have very poor VHS copies of the programmes from the original transmissions, but I have never heard of any being sold commercially in the UK. Maybe there was a US release. If so I would guess searching under Pelicula would offer the best option.

Thanks for sharing!
Harry LaFleur was the first cajun player I heard. He was on WRNO shortwave from New Orleans on a program hosted by Mark Costello. Mark then ran a ran a series of interviews conducted by Pete Bergeron from the early to mid 1980's. Mike Doucet, Ward Lormand, Don Montoucette (sp?). .... those were the days.
