If you are driving on I-10 through Louisiana beware that I-10 between Lafayette and Baton Rouge is shut down until December 5 because of a gas well fire. Allow plenty extra time for travel.

yeah then a cane truck tipped over on the alternate route today so you know that really slowed traffic.

Alternate route to Pat's if I-10 remains closed:

If coming from North of I-10 on I-49/Evangeline Thwy. continue heading south into Lafayette,

1.) left on Pinhook 1 mi (Note: Take right if you're coming south from New Iberia side of I-49)

2.) right on Carmel 6.5 mi

3.) right on Rees street about 1 mi

4.) left on Bridge St. 0.1 mi

5.) right S. Poydras St. 0.2 mi

6.) left at Grand Point Hwy./347 4.6 mi

7.) right on Henderson Hwy/352 and Pat's will be on your left at the end of that road 4.5 mi!
