Cool tones on cool tunes...

I almost hate to talk about this, cause I have found a way cool way to play guitar.

Just got a great National Style "0" last week. It was made in 10/00 and is the best sounding and playing resophonic guitar I've ever had. Don't have any accordions anymore, but I love the tunes.

Soooo... I tune the guitar to G and play them on it. It sounds killer! I was always a fair finger picker, and with some subtle adjustments I can play the tunes and the turns to all of my Cajun repetoire.

What is great is that the guitar is basically tuned G/D. So I don't have any 4ths in the bass, I just whack away on the 5ths, getting that killer tone.

I'm stoked!
