What key?

Does anyone have the Charles Mann recording of 'Walk of Life'? The key is E, but I wonder if the box ( who's playing? ) is an A.

I presume the dire straits recording is in E, as guitarists always seem to play it that way.

I need to know if it was an A box before I tie myself in knots trying to play it on a D.

Re: What key?

The accordion player was Tim Broussard. I am not certain, but I think it was an A accordion.

Re: What key?

Got a version you can play on a C accordion coming your way.
Maybe not exactly what you had in mind, but it`s a nice version.

Re: What key?

Yes, Tim Broussard played on that song and I am almost positive that it was an A accordion.

Re: Re: What key?

Thanks, all. An A box is an accordion too far. The guitarists will have to transpose if they want me to play.
Looking forward to hearing that, Wilfred. Who is it?
