Jese Lege

I was listening to the old Lake Charles Ramblers CD today & was wondering what Jese is up to these days. Anyone in touch with him, or know what he's doing?

Jesse now lives in NY and has a new band playing the beset music of his life. Link to his website above.

Re: Jese Lege

I spent some time with Jesse in November, talked with him on the phone about two weeks ago. He thought he would head back to LA in mid December. He's working on doing a Midwest swing after the first of the year with Joel Savoy, with a stop for us in Indy, then on toward Chicago etc. And yea, he's at the top of his game.

Speaking of Jesse, here's a clip I captured at Balfa in '06 as part of the Louisiana Folk Roots Festival in Ville Plate. he was playing with David Greely and Dirk Powell. Awesome! The sound qualify isn't great, but it gives you an idea of what it was like.
