Not long after this, Dewey's brothers Will and Rodney were killed in a car accident. Dewey almost never played music again. All fans of Cajun music miss his brothers greatly. We are blessed that Dewey found the inspiration to play again. Every time you hear a song by Dewey, remember his brothers too.
