My band on TV

We recorded a few songs and interviews for a local TV show called "Front Row". I sheepishly unveil one song (the only one they've posted 'til yet) now - since it's Christmas, I figure you're all in a generous and kindly Holiday spirit.

It ain't Cajun and it ain't really Zydeco (unless instrumentation determines genre). What kind of music is it? No expletives, please . . .

The vocals and accordion were pretty muddy, I thought.

Re: My band on TV

Nice. To my ears, it sounded like Zydeco by way of Mississippi Shieks with a pinch of Gid Tanner, but that's a little long for a bumper sticker Don't know if it was an optical illusion, but it looked like the bridge on the fiddle was leaning big time. Got me nervous. Let everybody know if you post more vids. Merry Christmas.

Don't know what to call it, but it sounds good!! Steve
may be right about Gid Tanner...his backup band was the
"Skillet Lickers" if I recall...
