Last year took place the first edition of a new accordion fest in Memramcook, New Brunswick (Atlantic Canada). This year, the second edition will be held nearby in Dieppe, which is part of the great Moncton area, south east of New Brunswick. If you think you'll be around, this will be fun.
It is a very informal format. Last year, there were about 80 players, mostly from Quebec and the maritimes. Some of the finest diatonic players and builders were there. Any decent player can play publicy as anyone can put their name on the list and each player plays two songs on several occasions during the festival. There are also informal jamm sessions.
