OK .. Let us try 180 (90) pbm

Hi Braves,

I've posted "take-2" of Midland Two Step at 180 bpm.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UCgh8cGi1Hs

Does this tempo sound "comfy"? Not rushed?

Too fast for Granny?

Merci beaucoup!

Re: OK .. Let us try 180 (90) pbm

Nick

To me it does not sound rushed. Your playing has clarity
and smoothness where you can hear the melody and all thats going on in the tune.

Wonderful playing .... Ed

Great playing...

Two requests... play it at about 105 BPM and then r-e-a-l slow, cause there are some licks in it I've never been able to get. Seems like Danny Poullard played a killer version of the tune.

Thanks Kyojin no Nikku-san... :- )

Tq

20 please

Nick,

great,

I agree with Tom: can you do it a little slower for me? I like your fingering.

Gus

Re: 20 please

Can you play it once using the internal mic? I can't hear anything.

Thanks,

R!CK

...that is an internal in the lower corner, right?

Something is not right?

Hi R!CK!

Yes, you are correct .. that is an internal mic
connection in the lower corner.

But .. you "can't hear anything"? Something is not
right.

Can you hear the audio in other yoututbe video clips?

The audio *is* present in the clip.

You should be able to hear the accordion with an entire
accompaniment.

Re: Something is not right?

I hear it loud and clear. Nice tone too...

Re: Something is not right?

Grab hold of something heavy, BG. Rick is pulling your leg!

Re: Re: Something is not right?

In the voice of Homer Simpson; DOH!

No fair! I wouldn't have fallen for that trick before
I had drank beer for half-a-century!

Re: Re: Re: Something is not right?

Boy Big, that is gullible, Rick's tongue has been in his cheek for 40 something years. If he was ever serious, no one would believe him.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Something is not right?

Bryan,

All's I can say is .. Ay Carumba!

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Something is not right?

I promise to be good from now on...

Ahem... I approve of the tempo of this version by Big Nick.

Seriously, it sounds great and is played very well. Good job, Bigs!

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Something is not right?

There you go using that word "seriously", that automatically makes us suspicious.

Dont try to be good, we have to have a little twisted humor here now and then, or more.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Something is not right?

rick, i hope you can sleep well with no aide from pills, when every accordiotist, oops, accordionist, is pickin' on you . nout

If anyone deserves a lil' raking over the coals on this board, it's me!

Re: shhh!

Now I'm embarrassed! HOW could I have forgotten Steve From Jersey on my list!? I'm watchin' you now, buddy! I got connections in AC... and uhhh... over at the Bada Bing office AND Satriales, too!

Jersey is cool! That's where my bass player hails from.

R!CK

Hailing bass players

Now I've heard of everything.
It's hailing bass players in Jersey?!!

Re: Hailing bass players

Hailing bass players is far more useful than cats and dogs, DP. I shoulda known you would show up on this thread. You've made the cut... Seems as though everyone's a comedian on this board... I tell ya, I get no respect.

With my dog I don't get no respect. He keeps barking at the front door. He don't want to go out. He wants me to leave.

Last week I saw my psychiatrist. I told him, "Doc, I keep thinking I'm a dog." He told me to get off his couch.

My doctor told me to watch my drinking. Now I drink in front of a mirror. I drink too much. Way too much. My doctor drew blood. He ran a tab.
