I've seen several posts entitled something like "Where should I go while I'm in Lafayette?"

Maw Maw and Paw Paw Lafleur's in Lanse Grise. Nice ambience, great service, live music, outdoor dining available, cold beer, very fresh crawfish in season, cheap prices. Call ahead for food requests.

Great suggestions. However, as I'm adding these, i'm wondering if this map should stay clear of non-Cajun restaurants, bars, eateries, etc. I may only include those with at least some hint of a "Cajun" element, everything from out-of-the-way sites to the obvious tourist traps.

Listing every bar, restaurant, park, etc would be a huge list, not necessarily beneficial to a 1st time outsider, unlike yourself. All that can be found in a phone book.

I'll see what I can do.
