Technical Question

Can I capture individule audio tracks from my instructional DVDs, into iTunes? I could then listen to exactly what I'm learning through my iPod. Seems like this should be doable, but I'm not enough of a computer guy to know how. Thanks in advance for any help.

Chuck.

Re: Technical Question

Sure, I've done it with my Zune.

Re: Technical Question

If you use Audacity(freeware) or a similar program, you can record the sound from your DVD and play it on your computer with I-tunes or Audacity and even slow it down with Audacity.

Re: Technical Question

Chuck,

Are you MAC or PC? (I'm more familiar with PC's)

On a PC, you should be able to play the DVD with
your computer, and simultaneously run an audio
capture program such as Windows resident sound recorder
i.e. "Windows Sound Recorder".

You'd need to select the correct "input device"
in your "Sound Control" panel.

Does this make any sense? If you do use Windows,
what version (i.e., XP, etc?)

You should be able to do this on any computer, PC
or MAC.

Re: Re: Technical Question

Thanks all for the helpful advice, that will point me in the right direction. Nick, I'm doing this on a PC, so I'll see what happens!

Thanks, Chuck.
