Interesting Bb/Eb two row

Recently acquired, really cheap, an old Hohner "Venezia" two row tuned in Bb/Eb. First two row I've ever seen tuned that way. Needs tuning and new leathers, but still plays. The bellows are lavender with little white snowflake like dots, green papers printed with holly leaves and red berries. A "christmas" box if I ever saw one. Bb/Eb should be great for carols and hymns.
Anybody ever seen or own a two row Bb/Eb ?

Re: Interesting Bb/Eb two row

Yes I have a 2row in the same tuning.
Its a early 60's Paolo Soprani in mint condition.
Hard to get used to at first, but now I just love the tuning.

i have a beautiful saltarelle irish bouebe in Bb/Ebtwo row with senneheiser internal mic i sell for 1000 euro..its like new...i send pics

Re: Re: Interesting Bb/Eb two row

The Saltarelle sounds beautiful. Not interested in buying at this time though. Saving my money to pay for my next LA box when it is ready.

One Bb/Eb is enough right now. Who knows, I may fall in love with it and want a better quality box in those keys. I did enjoy my F/Bb Paolo Soprani I had for a while. Sold it to pay for my first real LA box.
