Gus! that is too awesome! I love that deep throaty sound it has when the wet mid bank is lowered. Sounds like a bull frog singing Irish melodies.

I love that kind of Irish style on the one row.

Gus, have you ever heard John J. Kimmel? You won't find any youtube videos of him. He played back in the early 1900's

If you haven't heard his playing, get on it, NOW!

Jim, I heard friends play his tunes, but never his own playing (though there must be some recordings).
For me it was too fast and complex.
Anothere one row player was Tom Dogherty, maybe you heard of him

My favorite in Irish is Charlie Piggot, he plays "extended one row" they say. I'll send you an email with a nice sample..
