Acadian Model 2 on eBay

There is an accordion that has recently come and gone on eBay (link below). It was an Acadian Model 2, but what exactly is a Model 2? Does that mean that it's improved from earlier models? Is it preferable than a Model 1, if there is such a thing? The one in the auction was made in 1996. I'd like to know, in case I see another one!

Thanks!

Re: Acadian Model 2 on eBay

Model 1: American Walnut, end plates not of figured wood, inlay only on bellow frames, scollwork engravings only on treble side

Model 2: Dark Claro Walnut, figured wood end plates, scollwork engravings on both sides, inlay on bellow and end frames,
abalone inlay on stops

Model 3: Rare, fancy woods with same appointments as Model 2

Oooop! Gone!

Somebody got it.

Re: yeppers

Yes,

I believe that Cajunette said that is was here &
gone but wanted to know what a model 2 was

Re: Re: yeppers

I totally misread it thinking it had been auctioned recently and being auctioned again. A lot of concerns here lately about fraud.

I didn't know the answer to the Model 2 question, though. Thanks for that info.
