Cajun/Zydeco in Birmingham, AL

I wanted to invite everyone in the Birmingham area to come out to the City Stages festival. I will be there with Bayou Roots this Saturday, June 16. We play in midafternoon on the Dance Depot stage and early evening on the Oasis Stage. I hope to meet anyone in the area who is able to come out to the festival.

If y'all get a chance, don't miss Chris and his band. I saw them at Festival Acadiens, and dang near danced myself apart - spent the next week recuperating!

Top notch!

Re: Cajun/Zydeco in Birmingham, AL

Yeah, go for it if you can.
Chris was in the Netherlands last weekend and he did a great job with Zydecane.
For me it's a little to far, unfortunately.

Re: bon job, mr chris!

thanks so much, that means a lot coming from a fellow musician. It was really great to meet you--we will need to set up some jam time next time! Yep, you were rocking the ladies weren't you?! Go head on head on there, err, mr. Larry;)
