Cajun & Zydeco learning video on ebay

I've never seen or heard of this one... Check on link #2... Anyone knows about the author?

Re: Cajun & Zydeco learning video on ebay

Does anyone know who Evo Bluestein is, and if he/she still produces this video in a CD/DVD fromat, rather than VHS?
Be good to add to the stack.

that VHS has been around for many years ( 15? ).. is basic.. not necessarily good for learning purposes.. but is done in the right spirit.

It is mostly one row Cajun with a few zydeco on double row C/F..

Evo was the first .. but it is way surpassed in its value..

I have seen it on DVD somewhere as well.

Re: Cajun & Zydeco learning video on ebay

Evo Bluestein has taught at my kids' school. Every few years he comes around and teaches square dancing and that kind of thing, plays some fiddle, etc.

I have seen some clips from his video, I think that the Dirk Powell VHS tapes are much, much better instructional material, as is the old Marc Savoy VHS.

Very true on Dirk's DVDs being much better..

Evo was one of the first to share his talents.. and the guy definitely has soul !
