i buy old fiddles and restore them what are some good names of some fiddles so i can keep my eyes open and how can u tell if its hand made or not

If you can find them you might consider Old factory made fiddles from Germany made before WWII and also those made after WWII. The lable will usually show what copy of a Strad. it is and made in Germany. If it shows made in West Germany it is made after WWII. Old factory made fiddles made in Mircourt France are also good quality and not too expensive.
